Can anyone tell me if Market-Tavern Mazarron is still open?
Plus is there still a fair few Brits living in this area?
Well its not a loud place with no kiss me quick hats to be seen anywhere, but its what you make it. We have a great life here and have a good group of friends, I would recommend it to anyone.
When we were thinking of moving over to Spain we were thinking should we move to the Mazarron area - we thought it was a lovely place. In the end when we moved over we moved to Crevillente. It's just the way these things work out sometimes isn't it? We are now living at La Marina and love it amongst the Brits (but saying that there is a good variety of all Nationalities here) !! But as we do not speak Spanish we are happy here. Perhaps we will come for a drive to Mazarron and see how much it's changed since we last visited !
Yes its still open and have a lively entertainments programme. Lots of Brits around also
yes the market tavern is still open but has changed hands many times over the last 8 years i us to work there when it first opened i now own bar la peña on the paseo (sea front) and yes still lots of brits living here.

"Shaken Stevens is great" says Peter Day from Jukebox Promotions. "He looks, sounds and moves just like Shaky did back in the 80s and people will be really surprised at how he portrays the original artist". Amongst those that influenced Shaky are Little Richard, Buddy Holly, The Everleys, Eddie Cochran, Marty Wilde, Chuck Berry, Elvis, Cliff, Beach Boys and Dire Straights and many songs from these greats will be in this show too along with some female renditions by Fiona McLean.
This is the first time Shaken Stevens show has been to Spain and it is destined to be a big hit as ticket interest is already high. "It's very exciting to get Shaken Stevens over here and to make the tour another fund raiser for HAH Costa Blanca" says Peter "Shaky was a great star thirty years ago and whilst he is still on the circuit, he has not been hold on to most of his moves due to the effects of the years!! Would like to know if there is much to do in this area. We are thinking of moving down to somewhere in the Mazarron area, but possible it could be a bit of a ghost town, with not much to do?
